The Science and Technology Periodical Department of Institute of Engineering Mechanics (IEM), China Earthquake Administration, is the assistant department of IEM in scientific research. The department publishes four journals in the field of earthquake engineering, civil engineering, and natural disaster, playing the role of spreading scientific knowledge, ideas and practices. Since recent years, the science and technology periodical department of IEM has enhanced management and practice in compilation, and drawn up developing plans, in order to better serve the readers and authors.
