Research Division-Equipment Development
Instrument Development Division has been devoting itself to the commercialization of research findings by a lot of experiments, which are applied to the field of earthquake engineering and engineering vibration. It is the major developing and production base of vibration instruments inChina. The instruments are developed for strong-motion, vibration measuring and metering, engineering quality detecting, disaster prevention and reduction and experiment technology. It has already obtained 20 national patents and been awarded 23 prizes for its research achievements, among which one is the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award , 20 are ministerial/provincial prizes, 2 are silver awards of National Patent Expo.
