Codes and Specifications


IEM has attached a great importance to formulation of seismic design codes and other standards, and made great efforts in drafting and revising of these codes. Codes development has promoted the research work and functioned as a close tie between theoretical study and engineering practice. At present, the number of standards developed by IEM has exceeded 80, including national standards, industry standards and local standards. Among them, 23 standards are led by IEM, as shown below, and more than 50 standards are cooperated by IEM.
