HSEE—Heilongjiang Society of Earthquake Engineering

The Heilongjiang Earthquake Engineering Society (HSEE) is a society formed by scientists and engineers in the field of earthquake engineering science and technology.

Initiated by the Institute of Earthquake Engineering, HSEE was approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, and supervised by the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Association. HSEE is the first earthquake engineering society in China. The society aims to promote the exchange between scientists and engineers in the field of earthquake engineering in our province, to popularize earthquake prevention and disaster reduction knowledge, to promote scientific and technological cooperation both at home and abroad, and to maintain a leading position in the country by promoting the development of the earthquake engineering discipline in our province. Further expand academic influence in the country, better serve local economic development and national innovation and development strategy, and protect people and property safety. Throughout the province and across the country, the society brings together scientists and engineers who excel in earthquake engineering.
